Frame Drawing 3

A lap jointed oak frame is assembled with glue and stainless steel screws. Holes are drilled to accommodate 3/8"x 4" bolts at the gussets, along the sides, corners, and along centerline of the cross members. After adding Insulates, it is time to add the flooring. It is not necessary to use a full-length 4' x 10' sheet of plywood. As you can see, the sub floor frame provides an attaching surface for much smaller sections, however I am using 3/4"x 4'x 10' plywood finished on one side (ACX). The full size sheet will provide additional support for the entire structure.
